Barbara Giese Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Barbara Jeanne (Hartman) Giese, who passed away at the age of 62 on Sunday, March 2, 2008. Barbara was born in Maryville, Mo., to parents, William I. and Mary Virginia Hartman. Barbara was a longtime employee of Des Moines Area Community College, serving with the economic development group and ultimately associate dean of the West Campus prior to her retirement in 2004.
