Bennett Family Scholarship

The Bennett Family Scholarship was established in 1996 by Carroll and Mary Jo Bennett. Carroll was part of the founding DMACC leadership team. He went on to various leadership positions in over 30 years with the college, concluding as a founding leader of DMACC’s Newton Campus. He instilled a deep appreciation of the value of education to all of his students and family members. Carroll often attributed his own professional success to being the recipient of a college scholarship that launched his lifelong love of learning. The Bennett Family honors Carroll’s commitment to education with this scholarship and hopes that all recipients embrace the opportunity to improve their own communities and always look to “Pay It Forward.”
