David and Mary were firm believers in education and the opportunities that it provided. They enjoyed traveling and visiting 44 countries during their marriage. David and Mary enjoyed many of the dinners at DMACC’s Iowa Culinary Institute, especially those prepared by students under the guidance of the visiting French chefs.
