Doris Wisecup Endowment

This scholarship was established in memory of Dorothy “Doris” M. Wisecup, 94, of Ogden, Iowa, who passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the Boone County Hospital. Dorothy Mae Zenor was born on June 27, 1921, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Raynard and Pearl (Baker) Zenor. She attended Gilbert schools until the 9th grade. On February 15, 1946, Dorothy was united in marriage to Howard Wisecup in Boone. The couple lived and farmed southwest of Ogden until moving into town in 1973. Dorothy worked as a housekeeper at the Ogden Manor. Dorothy was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden.
