Forrester Family Scholarship

The Forrester Family Scholarship was established by Aaron and Emily Forrester. Both Aaron and Emily hold DMACC degrees and felt that their education from DMACC has helped them in many ways. They feel that their education is “an invaluable contributor to both personal success and the success as a society,” and this scholarship is their “small way of trying to make a difference.” This particular scholarship aims to help students begin a path toward a successful career, where they will have the opportunity to accomplish their career goals and, ultimately, give back to their communities.

Aaron and Emily met at Iowa State and are lifelong residents of the Midwest, with much of that time spent living in the Des Moines area. Aaron is also a DMACC Boone graduate. After college, both started their careers in public accounting but ultimately shifted their career focus elsewhere in the business world. Aaron and Emily are proud parents of two daughters and a pug and especially enjoy traveling, both in the US and internationally, during their spare time.
