James and Marjorie Knott Scholarship

Jim and Marge Knott are known in the Carroll area for their long history of service. Jim served as a Carroll High School teacher from 1961 to 1987 and then took on duties of Dean and Provost of DMACC-Carroll, helping to establish and grow the Carroll campus to what it is today. He continued to serve as a member of the DMACC Board of Trustees upon retirement. Marge was an accomplished nurse whose career spanned 60 years, including more than 50 years of service to St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. She began as a floor nurse and worked many jobs before becoming the Director of Nursing. Jim and Marge were firm believers in education and the opportunities that it provided. Their family hopes to extend Jim and Marge’s legacy of support for nursing, education and community service.
