Lester and Connie Allen Memorial Endowment

The Lester and Connie Allen Memorial Endowment was originally established by Lester “Les” Allen to honor his wife, Connie Allen, after her passing. Connie, dedicated many years to Colfax schools, and later served in the Personnel Department at DMACC. Connie worked at DMACC for many years, and was like a “mother hen” to many. Although Connie never attended college herself, it was always her mission to “encourage” her daughter, Laurie, as well as may others, to pursue their education and earn a degree. Connie loved DMACC, and was very proud to work at the College and do her part to help others. After Lester’s passing in 2006, his name was added to the scholarship by their family, so together, Connie and Lester, can continue to offer encouragement and help students achieve their educational goals through their endowment.
