Richard K. Mathern Automotive Sciences Scholarship

Richard K. “Dick” Mathern, 72, of Pleasant Hill, passed away on October 21, 2011 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on February 20, 1939 in Des Moines to Florence and Marion Mathern. He retired from the Des Moines Water Works as a Customer Service Representative. For over forty years he owned and operated the Corvette Hospital. Dick was an active member of the Corvette Club of Iowa, the NCCC and was a US Army veteran.
