Rob & Christina Taylor Scholarship
Rob Taylor been a member of the DMACC family for many years, for Rob’s father, Bob, was a longtime diesel instructor and administrator at DMACC. Following in the footsteps of his father, Rob began work in the automotive industry before attending DMACC, where he developed fundamental skills and then pursued a degree from DMACC. Rob holds an associate’s degree from DMACC, a bachelor’s degree from Upper Iowa University and a master’s degree from William Penn University. He is an ASE Certified auto technician, a preventative maintenance trainer, a consultant, and has even worked as Sales Director for automotive preventative maintenance company BG Products Beller Distributing of Iowa. Rob is also heavily involved at DMACC as a member of the Alumni Association Board and and adjunct instructor, as well as currently serving on the DMACC Foundation Board of Directors. He has been a regular sub in the automotive program and teaches an automotive service fundamentals class that teaches the skills necessary to be a successful Service Advisor and Service Manager. The wages Rob earns from DMACC is donated to the DMACC Foundation to support this scholarship fund that was established by Rob and his wife, Christi.
