Seth Garland Animation Scholarship

This scholarship was established by family and friends in memory of Seth Garland who died in 2022 at age 23 after a long battle with depression.

Seth was a graduate of Ankeny Centennial High School and an employee of Amazon. He was a talented artist who had a passion for anime. He enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, working on his car, and spending time with family and friends. Seth’s dream was to have a career in animation in Japan. This scholarship helps provide similar opportunity to another student.
